En el segundo trimestre se ha experimentado un crecimiento en el n\u00famero de ocupados y se ha reducido el paro, con cifras positivas, aunque peores en comparaci\u00f3n con los segundos trimestres de los a\u00f1os precedentes. A nivel estatal, las cifras han sido algo mejores que en Catalu\u00f1a, donde se ha incrementado en mayor medida la poblaci\u00f3n activa, pero se ha producido un incremento del paro en t\u00e9rminos interanuales. A nivel estatal, es destacable tambi\u00e9n la desaceleraci\u00f3n interanual del paro, perdiendo 1 punto porcentual como consecuencia de la desaceleraci\u00f3n de este segundo trimestre.<\/p>\n<p>En definitiva, sin tratarse de cifras especialmente negativas, se podr\u00eda haber aspirado a datos m\u00e1s positivos, si lo comparamos con id\u00e9nticos per\u00edodos de a\u00f1os precedentes. Es evidente que las incertidumbres generadas por la aprobaci\u00f3n de las normativas laborales y de seguridad social recientes, as\u00ed como las que est\u00e1n en proyecto, perjudican la activaci\u00f3n del empleo y ayudan a la desaceleraci\u00f3n observada.<\/p>\n<p>En Catalu\u00f1a, el n\u00famero de parados seg\u00fan la Encuesta de la Poblaci\u00f3n Activa del segundo trimestre de 2024 sit\u00faa la tasa de paro en Catalu\u00f1a en un 9,41% (0,07 puntos menos que el trimestre anterior, que fue del 9,48%), situando el n\u00famero total de parados en 395.300 personas. El n\u00famero de ocupados es de 23.800 personas (0,63%) respecto al primer trimestre del a\u00f1o. El n\u00famero de parados se ha reducido en 222.600 personas este trimestre. Por otro lado, el n\u00famero de ocupados aumenta en 434.700 personas este trimestre respecto al trimestre anterior (2,05%) y se sit\u00faa en 21.684.700.
